Our Team
Ashley Albrecht's entire professional career has focused on special events and meeting management. Her career has included work within the local destination management industry and for an international meeting management firm. She has planned and organized national sales meetings, international symposia, incentive travel, conventions, customer appreciation events, nonprofit fundraisers, and grand opening celebrations. Tapping into her considerable experience with designing events in the Philadelphia area and nationwide for corporations and charitable organizations, Ashley astutely interprets the goals of an organization and guides it through event planning and implementation with ease and efficiency.
Ashley’s success as an event planner has come from an authentic drive toward hospitality and making guests feel comfortable and appreciated. Ashley relies on her strengths, including artistic vision, keen perception, and foresight, to plan events ranging from intimate dinner parties to large annual meetings. She partners with clients to provide friendly service that is both strategic and innovative.
Ashley is a member of the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau and serves on the board of the Philadelphia chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI-PA Chapter) as Director of Communications. In 2006, Ashley was named Tomorrow’s Leader by the chapter and was awarded the Chris Pentz Memorial Scholarship toward continuing industry education.
Jennifer Smith offers more than ten years of experience in special events and meeting management. She has planned and executed a variety of meetings and special events with her own blend of creativity, efficiency and enthusiasm. Jennifer has skillfully organized training and continuing education meetings, association meetings, advisory board meetings, satellite symposia, trade shows, and board of directors meetings, to name just a few. In addition, she has applied her talents to a wide variety of special events, including theme galas, destination meetings, corporate holiday and other parties, promotional events, dine-arounds, spouse events, fashion shows, auctions, and speaking engagements.
Jennifer has planned regional, national, and international meetings and special events. She has traveled to many parts of the world and is comfortable with the practices and traditions of other cultures. She is equally adept at planning intimate, local events and at organizing international meetings for thousands of attendees.
Jennifer holds a bachelors degree from the University of Delaware, a Professional Meeting Planning certificate from Temple University in Philadelphia and is an active member of the Philadelphia Area chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI-PA Chapter). She recently served her community as an executive committee member for a local animal rescue organization. As part of her volunteer work, Jennifer has designed special fundraising events for the group.
Dana Miller's professional background includes more than a decade of experience working in marketing. Dana has executed marketing campaigns aimed at individual and corporate customers and has promoted products and services at trade shows across the country. Her knack for organization and her creative, dependable approach to the pursuit of strategic initiatives are among her strengths.
Dana is well versed in relationship marketing and prospecting activities as well, which benefit from her genial, outgoing personality. She has produced and disseminated electronic communications as part of corporate marketing campaigns and has measured and handled the subsequent response from the target audiences. Dana is also passionate about special events and has planned theme dinners, casual and formal parties, and business and personal travel.
For Albrecht Events, Dana manages events and publicity for Baby Loves Disco, an exciting new national client. This year, she will coordinate logistics for more than 150 Baby Loves Disco events across the country, working with an extensive group of volunteers and with sponsors at the national and local levels. Dana will apply her energy and enthusiasm to expanding the national and international presence of this revolutionary alternative in family entertainment.
Susan Sidoriak is a creative designer with an eye for fresh and innovative looks and an ever-evolving artistic talent. Susan’s designs and concepts originate from her love for art and color. She excels at marrying different mediums and creates works that are unique and appealing to a wide audience. After college, where she graduated top in her class, Susan entered corporate America as a graphic designer for a prominent Philadelphia advertising agency. Her current work is a blend of her training with big business advertising, a passion for art, inspirations from her many travels, and personal originality.
Anne Swigart is an award-winning writer, editor, and marketing communications and PR specialist.
Anne’s experience includes corporate and employee communications, journalistic writing, technical writing, and expository writing. She has written and edited brochures, news releases, press kits, advertisements, newsletters, direct mail pieces, posters, flyers, taglines, and Web site copy. Her background includes customer relationship marketing, creating and executing PR and marketing campaigns, and managing production of many kinds of printed pieces. Anne has also worked as a Web site manager, textbook editor, literary magazine editor, and writing coach. She has performed freelance writing and editing for clients in a variety of fields, from Chinese medicine to environmental advocacy.
Anne loves to see how the written word, used wisely, can exercise its power to influence, educate, provoke, and move people.
