Description

Inspired by the holiday light display of Franklin Park’s Electrical Spectacle, we weaved dynamic illumination through the holiday event. Gold metallic drapes hanging for the cocktail hour dramatically opened before dinner, transforming the space into a theatrical black box. A programmable fiber optic curtain installed overhead shone pinpoints of light to replicate an immense starscape. Floral centerpieces reflected the dark, black look and some tables were enhanced with black structural elements and glowing votive candles. A Mirror Man contortionist, clad in a suit of circular mirrors, performed sinuous feats. We capped the evening with surprise performances by iLuminate—known for their glow-in-the-dark costumes and jaw-dropping dance moves—and Go Go Gadjet—a band with cutting edge musical experience and unique lighting choreography.
